At ScienTec Consulting, we're looking for a Recruitment Consultant who enjoys working with people, is commercially curious and wants a career where your effort can translate directly into results.
You'll learn the craft of professional recruitment from experienced consultants while progressively building your own portfolio of candidates, clients and assignments.
This is a role for someone who wants to learn fast, engage confidently, solve problems and make things happen.
What You'll Learn & Own
Understand the Business Behind the Job
You'll learn to:

Translate a hiring requirement into an effective recruitment strategy
Search, Engage & Build Talent Networks
Finding good candidates requires more than posting an advertisement and waiting.
You'll:

Develop sourcing strategies for different types of roles

Search across our recruitment database, job platforms, LinkedIn and professional networks

Identify and approach passive candidates
-
Build and maintain talent pipelines before vacancies arise

Develop relationships with professionals across different career stages

Keep abreast of candidate movements and talent-market trends
Assess Talent: Beyond the CV
A strong CV doesn't automatically mean a strong candidate.
You'll learn structured recruitment methodology to:

Conduct candidate interviews and career conversations
-
Understand career motivations, experience and aspirations
-
Assess suitability against both technical and behavioural requirements
-
Identify gaps and clarify information rather than relying only on what's written

Present strong candidate recommendations to clients

Provide candidates with practical guidance throughout the selection process
Manage the Candidate Journey
Changing jobs can be one of the biggest decisions someone makes.
You'll be responsible for creating a professional candidate experience by:

Keeping candidates informed throughout the hiring process

Preparing candidates for interviews

Managing expectations transparently
-
Gathering and communicating interview feedback

Supporting salary and offer discussions

Managing competing opportunities and offer acceptance

Staying connected through resignation, notice period and commencement
Develop Your Commercial Acumen
Recruitment in ScienTec Consulting is also a commercial profession.
You'll learn to:

Manage multiple recruitment assignments and priorities

Understand recruitment KPIs and conversion ratios

Track your pipeline from job order through placement

Identify opportunities within existing accounts

Build new candidate and client relationships

Requirements
Who We're Looking For

Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Marketing or any discipline where you've developed strong people and problem-solving skills.
