Business Analyst:
Continuous Improvement & Transformation

Full-Time

Analyse the Problem. Challenge the Process. Make Improvement Happen.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who is curious about how businesses work, confident working with data and motivated by 1question:

“How can we do this better?”

You’ll work on project-based assignments across ScienTec, partnering with different business functions to identify inefficiencies, analyse root causes and drive continuous improvement.

Your projects may span Compliance, IT & Digitalisation, Sales, Business Operations and other corporate priorities.

This is not a reporting-only Business Analyst role.

We want someone who can move from:

problem identification → analysis → recommendation → implementation → measurable improvement.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  1. Analyse existing processes, workflows, systems and operating practices

  2. Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points and underlying issues

  3. Map current-state processes and identify gaps, bottlenecks and control weaknesses

  4. Conduct root-cause and data analysis to distinguish symptoms from actual problems

  5. Develop future-state processes and practical improvement recommendations

  6. Build the business case for change where appropriate

  7. Support implementation and track whether improvements achieve the intended outcomes

Key Project Workstreams

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  1. Review compliance workflows, controls, SOPs and documentation

  2. Support projects involving data privacy, PDPA, audit readiness and internal governance

  3. Identify gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions

  4. Improve compliance processes so that controls are both effective and operationally practical

  5. Track improvement actions through to closure

IT, Systems & Digital Transformation

  1. Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and digitalisation

  2. Gather, challenge and document business and user requirements

  3. Translate operational requirements into clear specifications for internal or external technology partners

  4. Participate in system evaluation, UAT, implementation and post-implementation reviews

  5. Identify opportunities to improve existing ATS, CRM, HR, finance and corporate systems

  6. Support change management and user adoption

Sales & Business Performance

  1. Analyse sales pipelines, customer/account trends, activities and conversion performance

  2. Identify gaps and opportunities for improved sales productivity and account growth

  3. Review processes across lead generation, opportunity management and customer development

  4. Develop actionable insights for management and sales teams

  5. Support improvement initiatives and track their impact against agreed measures

Data, Reporting & Decision Support

  1. Analyse business and operational data to identify trends and exceptions

  2. Develop dashboards and management reports where they improve decision-making

  3. Establish meaningful performance indicators for improvement projects

  4. Convert complex information into clear management insights and recommended actions

Project Management & Execution

  1. Define project objectives, scope, deliverables and success measures

  2. Develop project plans and track milestones, dependencies and actions

  3. Facilitate discussions across business functions and follow through on agreed actions

  4. Escalate risks and roadblocks early

  5. Maintain clear project documentation and management updates

  6. Drive assigned improvement projects through to implementation and closure

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not measured by the number of reports produced.

It is measured by whether your work helps the business achieve outcomes such as:

Faster processes. Better controls. Less manual work. Better data. Higher productivity. Stronger sales effectiveness. Better management visibility.

For every project, we want to be able to answer:

What was the problem? What did we change? What improved?

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

  • You may be a fresh graduate or early-career professional in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.

  • We’re looking for someone who:

  • Thinks logically and approaches problems in a structured way

  • Is comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • Is naturally curious and asks good questions

  • Can work independently while engaging different stakeholders

  • Communicates findings clearly and succinctly

  • Is willing to challenge existing processes constructively

  • Has the discipline to follow a project from analysis through implementation

  • Is comfortable working across different business functions rather than staying within one specialisation

  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, process mapping, data visualisation, project management or AI productivity tools will be advantageous.

Why This Role?

  • Early in your career, breadth of exposure matters.

  • Instead of being confined to one department, you’ll work on real projects across different parts of the business, gaining visibility into how Compliance, Technology, Sales and Operations come together.

  • More importantly, you won’t just analyse problems and hand over a report.

  • You’ll have the opportunity to see your recommendations implemented, measure what changed and build a portfolio of business improvements that you personally helped deliver.

  • If you want to build a foundation for a career in Business Analysis, Consulting, Transformation, Strategy, Operations or Project Management, this role gives you the opportunity to learn by solving real business problems.
